National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- NDIS is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers.
- It provides support to individuals under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with reasonable and necessary supports.
- Support includes but is not limited to community involvement and therapy services.
- The scheme is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
- Discovering Strength is funded to provide support under Improved Daily Living. Although we provide Behaviour Support we are not funded to write Behaviour Support Plans.
- Participants need to be self-managed or have a plan manager. We are NOT able to assist if you are NDIA managed.
- Please refer to the NDIS Price Guide for budget considerations.
- For more information about the NDIS visit www.ndis.gov.au
